I am Vazgen. I am eleven. I live in Pokr Vedi which is situated in a very picturesque place. It is near the church Khor Virap. I live in a small family now. I live with my father and mother but I have three sisters who are married. The names of my sisters are Mariam, Ann and Susan. I love them all. I am fond of my family. We love and respect each other in our family and I am very proud to be born in such a family. My parents are very hardworking people and they work all day long to setisfy our needs. They have devoted all their lives to us: me and my sisters. As they work very hard they spend most of the day out of home and that is why we spend a little time together but the time we spend together is always nice and interesting. My father’s name is Henry, My mother’s name is Haykuhy. They are very loving and careful parents.
As for me, I am a schoolboy and I try to learn well to be a good child for my parents, and later a good man for my country. Besides my lessons I also like sport very much. I go in for sport and my great wish is to become a famous sporstman. and I shall do my best to make my dream come true.
Though I am not so good at many school subjects I always try to be honest, kind, friendly and frank to others.
Now back to reality. I take part in «Providing education for 150 children in Armenia» program aimed at providing basic education for children who have been held back for various reasons. During this program, the selected children from 6 regional groups participate in Young Journalists Online Club (YJOC) and go back to school to carry out the rest of the training program. Their communities will be selected by taking into account the “Community Youth Voice” how active the students kept their blogs, websites, and social media. The program helps students update their knowledge learned from school and this helps actively progress basic education. I am very glad that I participated in this program during the summer holidays.
